New Route Map added to the Tacx website

Post by Tacx Video Production » Thu Dec 06, 2018 6:06 pm

https://tacx.com/product/tacx-films-tda/ scroll down to the bottom

For the 1st time for Tacx you can now see a map of just where you can ride with your TDA subscription, more rides are being added each month. In 2018 we filmed a number of amazing routes in Yorkshire, Catalonia, Bavaria & the Dolomites. We also are adding many of the best of the TTS4 collection.

To use the map zoom in on the icons & you can see where the routes go, sometimes they overlap if the start locations are the same, in that case just click the actual route & you will get the same pop-up info box for the route.

Its still a bit is hidden at the bottom of the page, I hope customers find it there. The one that will come to TDA will have all the cool extra stuff though, almost the most adictive thing I've seen since facebook

Not all browsers can see this. Internet Explorer is not supported.

Internet Explorer is no longer a modern browser. More and more sites indicate a denial of support when you visit them.
In Chrome everything is fine.

I use Firebox and Phi's link worked fine on my regular PC, but it does not appear with IE (which is why I do not use IE very much, which is mostly a gas-guzzling POS). Edge is just about as bad.

However, on the PC's that I run and test TDA on I do have IE as the default browser thinking that perhaps TDA and other Tacx desktop software was optimized for IE. I think I will switch those PC's to Firefox as well.

It would be great if you could see if it's a Bertha Film (or even the production year).

Production year is actually a bit meaningless as the entire collection comes from just 2 cameras (the 2,7K HD cinema Camera & the 4K BerthaVision one), you could say that the oldest 2013 films are better then the 2015 ones because the kit was newer in 2013  The image from Bertha is the same as it was in 2016 when we 1st started to film with this camera...changes made since then are all fairly minor related to replacing my prototype stabilization parts with pro made cnc machined ones & being able to film longer.

This is good news, anything that makes navigating the film library is a plus. This said, there are still bugs in the filtering interface, such as not all countries being listed in the oull-down filter (the US is absent, for example, even though there are 3-4 California films), and some rides being filtered out when listing favorites (even thought they are tagged).

The filter country thing is a bug, its GPS based, Im guessing if the UK, Ireland & US are missing its because these rides are all west of the Prime Meridian in London & have a negative Longitude.. Its something developers forget ;-)
