Help, VR is not working anymore (4.23.0)

All,
I have not used TTS4 for some time (+/- 1 year), before it worked just fine. When I now wanted to use VR again, I always get following error message: "Game crashed. Crash report folder named xxx next to game executable. Please send to developer of the game." I have already contacted Tacx support, they first asked to delete the software from the registry and re-install the software again. I all did this but got same message. Now they say my (video card) drivers might be not up to date anymore, I also installed latest version (I have NVIDIA Geforce GT 740M) but with no effect. And again, before it worked fine on same computer... Can somebody please help me since it looks like Tacx Support also can't help anymore. Many thanks !! Steven

The fastest access to this folder: copy here the path to it and paste it in the address bar of Explorer or browser.

We also need a log whose name begins with VR. Please publish the logs in full, not in part. There is no beginning in the first log.

The NVIDIA Geforce GT 740M is a fairly old and weak video card. Not sure what version of Windows is being used and whether it is different than a year ago. I would try changing all VR video settings in TTS4 to the lowest level to see if that helps.

Thanks for the feedback. I managed to get VR running again by installing back old/initial driver of my NVIDIA card (from 2013...) and now VR starts again. So newer updates of this card are for some reason not compatible with VR in TTS4. I realize card is quite old but it worked relatively OK so far.

I’ve had the same issue except my VR just shows a black screen once the ride is loading/supposed to start. Everything was fine until the very last update. Is there an easy way to go back 1 update w/o reinstalling? I just need one working edition before Tacx stops their support. Guys at Tacx sent solutions which was great but none worked (reinstalled with link to most current software). I too have a nividea video card.

There is such a easy way: periodically make full images of the system disk.

I understand that you have different versions of these two files:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Tacx\TacxTrainersoftware4\TacxVR\TacxVR.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\Tacx\TacxTrainersoftware4\TrainerSoftware.exe

Try replacing the TacxVR folder with this one:

Is this an update you mean?
4.23.0.0 from version 4.22.7.0

So I tried the patch and now the whole thing is crashing. I have instructions to reinstall but now the link to the file has been moved/removed so I am stuck reinstalling from 4.1. Any idea how to get another copy of the current full file? Tks

Use this recommended procedure:

0) Before starting the procedure, it is desirable to back up this folder:
C:\ProgramData\Tacx\TrainerSoftware\TTS4

1) Uninstall the TTS4 and TTS Launcher via Control Panel - Programs.
Keep in mind that if you disable the Internet do not need to deactivate the license (starting with version 4.16.2).

2) Uninstall all the Microsoft Visual C++ via Control Panel - Programs.
Here carefully: they will be many and not in a row. Make ordering by name for convenience.

3) Uninstall all the Jungo drivers via Device Manager.
Keep in mind that to remove the driver VRinterface, this device must be connected to the computer (for devices with a wired interface connection). Otherwise, you will not see VRinterface in Device Manager.
