Vibration with Bushido

Post by mottyd5 » Mon Feb 26, 2018 11:29 am

Hi,
I used to work with the Bushido for the last 3 years with no problem.
Lately, from some reason, I feel lots of vibration when go high speeds, also hi noise.
I assume that something mechanically changed during time. Any idea? Any recommendation for adjust this?
Thanks.

I would first look at the tire and wheel to see if there is something wrong, such as a bulging tire or out of true wheel. Be sure the stainless steel sleeve on the roller is clean and the bolts that secure the brake to the trainer frame have not loosened. If none of those fix the problem, you should look to see whether the stainless steel sleeve is loosening from the polyurethane roller. As these brakes age, the polyurethane seems to shrink and the sleeve can get loose. There is another thread on using epoxy to fix the problem.
