Tacx Flow Smart Power Readings

Post by Tarmac8 » Fri Dec 22, 2017 2:17 am

Hi all,

My previous indoor training has all been done on various wattbikes in numerous places which all have been fairly close in terms of numbers - so with my FTP of 320 I am able to complete my trainer road sessions on any bike I've been on.

Just purchased a Flow Smart and can't quite seem to get the numbers to match. Have calibrated on the Tacx App and Trainer Road app, and I'm struggling to hold around 300 watts for a few minutes, and seem to spin my hardest gear at around 120rpm for only 400-450 watts... (both on trainer road and zwift)

Any tips on what I could be doing wrong? Like I said have done the calibration on the apps, latest firmware installed and Tyre pressure at around 105... is there anywhere the calibration tool on the app could be wrong?

Thanks for any help!
