Limit the supported speed in TDA

Post by seemann » Tue Feb 05, 2019 4:43 pm

Is it possible to limit the supported speed of the TDA when driving downhill (e.g. up to a maximum gradient of -2 %, or maximum speed 30 km/h)?
I use the Tacx Neo with power connection.

No. It is a feature wanted by several but I don't know if it will be incorporated in the future.

We have braking in an alpha version of TDA right now that works really well, using maths to add braking where it would be used in real life. They have a whole list of other different ways to add braking. The issue I think just now is that Tacx want a unified form of braking for all the apps so everyone's times are affected the same & we do not have riders at a huge disadvantage on TDA & riders flying down the descents in TTA. I suspect this is the reason for the delay.

Somewhat timely if you consider the fact that the Neo Smart Bike has functional brake levers.
