Completing a ride

Post by afnug » Thu Nov 30, 2017 8:35 pm

I started the Tony Martin ride, did about 30 mile then had to quit as something came up that needed my attention, in TTS4 a ride would ask if you would like to start from the last finish point, can you do this in TDA I can't see the option.

Yeah you can. If you look in Films. Click on the film. Then you see bar graphs. I think it shows the ride you've done so far and the ride that's left to complete. I just clicked on the bar I wanted to do and then clicked on Start Training. I split that ride into two days because I can't sit on the trainer as long as I would like because I start having pain. But yes it does work.

a continue ride feature is not yet in TDA, but its listed to go in...They have a custom course creation tool that I hear is closer to completion that will do the same thing with a little bit of detective work to find out where you quit the ride..Ive not seen it yet.

I went back to see what I did on the 25th and 27th when I split the ride up between those two days. I only did 14.5 miles on the 25th. So when I saw the bar for the other half of the ride I thought it was for the full portion I had not done yet. It was for the second half of the route which was 19.8 miles which I rode. I did not pay that close attention. My fault. Sorry to mislead.
