What the ideal calibration number?
The ideal number should be between 10 - 15. When your calibration number is outside this check that you have enough tire pressure (for a race bike 7-8bar) & that you have a good pressure between the roller & tire. Ideal is about 3 - 3.5 full turns after the roller has just made contact with the tire. Make sure the break is in the correct slot for the type of bike used. For example a race bike shoud use slot 2

right slot for a race bike 700x23C
I also have some problems with the manual. I first had the brake in slot 3 and then read on the webpage that a race bike should use slot 2.mmasr wrote:thanks, but I have already the manual. The question is because I am doubting between slot 2 or 3.
It was a bit difficult but now I have it in slot 2 and my personal feeling is that it works not as good as before. The break seem not to run as smooth and round as before in position 3.
The break also pushes very hard against the tire although the small calibration wheel is completely released.
Can this all be correct or should I better use position 3 again ?
P.S.: I also noticed that it now in position 2 takes more to get 3 or more LEDs on then in position 3
