Route des Grandes Alpes - Part III

Post by dbr » Wed Dec 16, 2015 6:38 pm

Can anyone confirm that the film above follows the same route up the climbs that the Etape du Tour 2016 is scheduled to use? I know the cols are the same, but need to ensure the same route is also followed for training.

Thanks in advance.

3 of the climbs are spot on the the same & also the same side/route. So you have the 1st two climbs Aravis until over the Colombier. Then the Etape heads off the RDGA route over the Ramaz which we have never filmed while we do two smaller climbs & i place then the Joux Plane is the same side as the Etape du Tour with a slightly different start. We normally try to film the Etape du Tour in October but this version is too close to a ride we already have in quite high quality.

Many thanks for the quick and detailed answer. Sounds like it will be worth getting the DVD - need to add it to my Christmas list :-)

Ok what about breaking it down in to manageable parts? e.g. like the Mt Ventous series.

That's possible I will see how many product numbers I have left. Want to keep the new numbers for the new footage.
