Just bought a Bushido - now the questions

Post by busterbird » Mon Nov 30, 2015 10:41 pm

Hello -

I just purchased a Bushido Smart, and now I have questions. The reason I went with this device was that I do not have access to an electrical outlet, and I believe this was my only option.

First question - is that true or were there other models I should have considered?

Second question - I have seen pictures of Bushidos, and they appear to have a head unit. I did not find a head unit in the packaging. Did I miss a part?

Last question (for now).If I stop pedaling while using the trainer, will it drop all connections to devices right away? Or is there a bit of a lag?

I hope to not have buyer's remorse because I should have purchased something more suitable.

Thank you very much!

Take a look at this table, in the line "Mains power":

The head unit has the previous version T1980:

Your model comes without a head unit:

Thanks very much, Alex! This was helpful and based on what I see, I am good with what I purchased. :-) Not a lot of choices when I want Smart with no electrical power required. 8)

It doesn't drop the connections straight away. Even then it doesn't really matter how long you leave it. e.g. I can stop pedalling in Zwift, go away , have a cup of tea, then as soon as I start pedalling it all works again without any repairing.
