How to gracefully Connect/Disconnect TTS 3?

Post by ms6073 » Tue Jan 25, 2011 4:08 pm

While a long time Fortius & TTS user, I am new to training with the Bushido and was curious if anyone had a graceful way to connect/disconnect from TTS? I ask because and issue with resistance versus power output measured from my SRM arose during a Catalyst WT training session and I needed to calibrate and check scale factor on the Bushido, only to realize that I did not know how to disconnect. When I used disconnect under Bushido Setup in TTS, even though TTS said it was disconnected and I closed TTS and removed the Garmin ANT stick, the Bushido head unit continued in PC Connection mode. Is there a way aside from removing batteries, to access the Bushido head unit setup menu?

Hi - the Disconnect button on the "Intro" Page (TTS 3.1) works for me. I use this to pair the garmin heartrate belt before training. (On the Bushido computer)

Had not actually noticed there being a disconnect button on the Intro page so will have to review more carefully, thanks. Just curious, when you selected the Disconnect button, does TTS popup a dialog indicating that it is disconnecting from Bushido and if so, approximately how long did it take to complete the disconnect and how long did it take the Bushido head unit to update such that you could again select the Bushido setup menu?

I use the disconnect button and it takes about 15-30 seconds.

I'm not sure wwhy the heartrate strap needs to be repaired each time. I have 2 Garmin 705's, a Garmin 305 and a Garmin 405. Once I pair them(including the ANT cadence sensors, they stay paired.

I think this is something that TACX should put on thier to d list the next time they upgrade firmware.
