No interface or brake detected by TTS 3.0

Post by montanari » Sun Nov 28, 2010 8:49 pm

I have no problems with 2.0.6. The brake and interface is detected without problems. The green light on the handlebar is working fine (light is on)

Have upgraded to TTS 3.0 but there the interface and brake can't be detected. The green light is not on.

Is there someone out there that can help me? I have to use TTS 2.0 that works fine but can not use TTS 3.0

I am using Windows 7 (64 bit).

I assume your settings are for a Fortius and not a Bushido. You can try re-running the driver installed program. It is in an x64 subfolder where the program is installed on your PC. Be sure your folder view is set to see all files.

When you run it, see the readme file. You have to run the setup.bat as an Administrator (click right button on mouse). The USB should not be plugged in. After running, plug it in and let Windows find the driver.

Thanks for your answer. yes it's a Fortius.

Tried to update the drivers in the folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Tacx\TacxTrainersoftware3\TacxDrivers" as administrator. It did NOT fix the problem.

Funny thing that it work for the TTS 2.0.6?

Did you run the setup.bat program in the TacxDriver folder or the one in the x64 subfolder. You might try both approaches.

Just tried to run setup.bat from the folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Tacx\TacxTrainersoftware3\TacxDrivers\x64" as administrator. This did NOT fix the problem either.

The VR_interface driver date is 13 July 2010.

I have now tried both approaches e.g. from the folders:
1) "C:\Program Files (x86)\Tacx\TacxTrainersoftware3\TacxDrivers\x64"
2) "C:\Program Files (x86)\Tacx\TacxTrainersoftware3\TacxDrivers"

TTS 3.0.1 can't find the VR nor the Brakes. I have no problems with TTS 2.0.6.

I'm sort of out of ideas other than send an email to support@tacx.nl explaining the problem.

Are you sure that TTS3 is still recognizing the installation of TTS2?
If not you will read TTS3 light in the headline of the screen of TTS3 and there are no identification codes under "Help".
