bluetooth and ant+ sensor

Post by frasca1122@gmail.com » Wed Oct 04, 2017 4:03 pm

I have a bushido smart with ant+ and bluetooth and a PC with bluetooth.
Is it possible to use zwift or TTS4 with the bluetooth connection of the PC or I need a ant+ sensor?
In this case the ant+ sensor I need is only Tacx or every ant+ sensor is ok?
Thank you.

You need an ANT+ transmitter to use it with TTS4 as TTS4 does not support BT. In theory, a number of ANT+ transmitters should work, but the only one I have successfully used with TTS4 is the Tacx T2028 antenna.

Although this should work with Zwift, I do not have personal experience, so I would leave it to someone else to comment.

In the near future, Tacx will be releasing a new Windows 10-based desktop application (you must have Windows 10 Creators Edition installed on your PC) that will work with both BT and ANT+ (BT only in the initial release). You can buy an inexpensive ($5) BT transmitter for your PC to hook up your Bushido Smart.
