Optimum Tyre contact to Motor roller

Post by Solomon » Sun Nov 02, 2008 8:37 am

Dear All,

Just wanted to know what is the optimum tyre contact level to the motor roller.

Should the wheel when the motor is off be really tight so you cant move the wheel or really loose.

Many thanks and happy training.

what is usually advised is 3.5 turns of the knob on the motorwheel, and a tire pressure around 7-7.5 bars

It also depends on the type of course/terrain hilly courses require a lot more pressure than flat ones it is trial & error even if there is a rough guidline
