I'm still too tired from Tuesday nights leg snapper!

I'm planning on Labays next week since the weekend weather looks spectacular over here and I plan on being outside.

Tonight is just a nice easy ride.

get a Smart trainer Neez & you have Veloreality also....400km long grand Tour of SW Ireland & a 200km GT of Majorca & the Ardeche.

Still need to talk with Tacx about their plans for RLV, I love the concept of grand tours inside, but they need the simple to develop features (perpetual "Ive got to here" online map & some way to interact with other riders that are busy on the routes).. cost is also a issue I think, would love to push this down & get more riders doing these long distance routes that leave real lasting cycling holiday style memories.

Will do Phil, as soon as the NEO, firmware and TTS interaction prove stable :-) Will wait for spring I guess

Ive organised the shorter easy to download version of the Tacx Raid Pyrenees route into 20 stages. Adding a couple of the ski resort TDF cols, this is for the new H264 collection Im working on.. This means some of the boring main roads & less interesting climbs between stage 1 & 7 are cut, from Port de Bales until the Atlantic its more or less identical to the BluRay version with only a section of the Tourmalet missing (it was washed away)...But in place you now also have Plateau de Beille & Luz-Ardiden at least there listed as a easy to see optional effort that will turn any cyclist in the world into a Pyrenees climbs expert in a bout 2 weeks of steady training! I guess I could have added a Pyrenees Stage 11B - Hautacam to make 21 Stages, you ride actually past the turn for the climb on stage 12!

Tacx Raid Pyrenees Stage 1 - La Tour Madeloc
Tacx Raid Pyrenees Stage 2 - Languedoc Roussillon
Tacx Raid Pyrenees Stage 3 - Col de Jau
Tacx Raid Pyrenees Stage 4 - Col de Pailheres
Tacx Raid Pyrenees Stage 4A - Plateau de Beille
Tacx Raid Pyrenees Stage 5 - Col d’Agnes & Lers
Tacx Raid Pyrenees Stage 6 - Col de Catchaudégué & Portech
Tacx Raid Pyrenees Stage 7 - Col de Portet dAspet
Tacx Raid Pyrenees Stage 8 - Port de Bales
Tacx Raid Pyrenees Stage 9 - Col de Peyresourde
Tacx Raid Pyrenees Stage10 - Col dAspin
Tacx Raid Pyrenees Stage 11 - Col du Tourmalet
Tacx Raid Pyrenees Stage 11A - Luz-Ardiden - FR
Tacx Raid Pyrenees Stage 12 - Col de Spandelles
Tacx Raid Pyrenees Stage 13 - Col dAubisque
Tacx Raid Pyrenees Stage 14 - Col de la Marie Blanque
Tacx Raid Pyrenees Stage 15 - Col de Labays
Tacx Raid Pyrenees Stage 16 - Iraty Plateau
Tacx Raid Pyrenees Stage 17 - Col d'Ispeguy
Tacx Raid Pyrenees Stage 18 - Hendaye

The Tacx Raid Pyrenees will be available in the new subscription based Tacx desktop software thats on the way this winter. It will mean that Raid will be actually affordable for anyone that rides Tacx RLV  A stage a week through the winter & by next season you will have better legs & an intimate knowledge of an entire mountain range

The rides in TTS4 are not compatible with the new software that runs & more recent codec so you will need to re-download the stage you need (Ive split the thing into 20 clearly marked easy to download stages). On the plus side the new codec results in a better looking HD file..its even a higher resolution then that used in TTS4.

Is the codec change due to win10 mpeg3 problem?

No it's more TTS4 needs a avi container which is ancient. Moving to a new container & codec means all the films will look visibly better. We also have now the option at some point to offer 4K when Tacx has figured out how to distribute the files which are at least twice the size of our full HD.
