OK - now I'm getting annoyed, mainly with myself.. Thanks for all the tips on posting a pic but I cannot make it work. . . . . . I must be doing something wrong, but cannot work out what!

I uploaded the pic to flickr - it's public, visible to everyone.
Here's the link

I highlight it and it gets surrounded by img like this

But still no pic!

It's VR (cycling dolls) not RLV on your screen
I thought of that while riding my bike.

The url you are using is for the page, not the image. From the flickr page select "Share" and then "Grab the HTML Code/BB code"

Select BBCode option, and then just copy the text and stick it in your post.

This is a link rather then a image but if you click in flikr "all sizes" in top left then pick a small image - right click & "copy image url" this will work. The url you copy has to end with jpeg or png etc

Thanks for the comments. I'm a first-time Tacx user and I've been pretty happy with the setup thus far.

Yes, newly married. This room is actually the basement and the only time it's in demand is late at night for movies. I just push the chairs aside when it's time to ride.

I'm jealous of all you with dedicated PC setups although the laptop doesn't take long to setup - but I could use the extra hard drive space and better graphics card.

Just buy an 2.5" external USB3 Hard drive....Then just move the video files over to that - Delete the video files on your windows partition - Open TTS - Select a ride & click the Video Tab - Now in place of the video you will see a "Browse for Video file" option box! - Now you simply select the video file for the ride on your external drive.

I think most RLV users have their video files on a external. Another good way for future new rides is to make a new folder for each "new" ride on the external & then copy the contents of the DVD/BD to that - then run the setup from the external drive & select to run from DVD...The installer will then think that your external is the DVD player

First of all, very impressive to see all your set-ups. Second, I move to claim that these set-ups especially waywardcyclist are equal to doping (EPO, blood transfusion or whatever is out there..) compared to my own setup, no fan, small room, only 40 inch screen and and old bianchi. Hmm I think I am getting more and more satisfied with my wattage levels..

PS. Yes I am indeed very jealous after looking at these pics.

No FAN? Seriously? There must be buckets of sweat on the floor. I wouldn't last more than a few minutes without one.

That's a great setup above alright BUT where's the fan hiding?

@nsidirop nothing wrong with 40" screen and a dedicated Bianchi!

@scapaslow and @nsidirop
Yup, you're right. No fan yet. There are 3 windows in the back that I open when riding. I live in a pretty cold spot now, so this usually is enough to drop the temperature to 56F / 12C. If it's a mild day, I open the door (not pictured) which really cools things off. I did 4 hours 15min nonstop a few days ago without a fan and 1 water bottle... I was really hurting at the end but I blame the Alpine climbs.
...but you are correct, a fan will be a nice addition and certain to follow in the coming weeks.

(Also I'm afraid my camera is not all that special to capture low-light environments like this so you'll have to use a bit of imagination)

Future plans are for black ceiling tiles, small stage with black carpet, curtains, wall panels, 2 rows of seating, and a bar.

Oh, and a fan.

WOW I love that very big screen !

This is in my basement, I only have one bike so I made an attachment for the fortius controller on the keyboard stand and have the candence sensor on a post so there is nothing mounted on the bike. That way I just have to change out the rear wheel to the trainer wheel and I'm set to go.

What I see from your stuff, guys, is that you're in a battlefield of your own though you're still mostly in a garage or in a special place. Triple that mess with 2 more sports (triathlon) and add some more for Gym (elliptical, EvoPump, FitBoxe, Aero Tonic, Pilates, etc. etc.) and put that in a NORMAL room (desk, wardrobes, bed, etc) and you have my room: Battlefield 4 (soon to be released by Electronic Arts!). :)

Congrats!!!
