Try to make the most of this forced break. Take some time to plan things for yourself over the next few months, things that you usually get too busy to do or just simply forget.

It is good that you are 'connected,' you can catch up with mail or just surf, or maybe even a movie.

Thanks for the RLVs to date, I now ride them more than VR, which is a real about turn.

Good travel....

Without knowing how much you have, I disagree: It's not too much nor can ever be! :D

I hate the idea that this winter's training now may depend on the reliability of any public transport system (perhaps ecxept the Swiss or Japanese). Good luck!

I might actually be on the films  , did the Aspin and the Hourquette on the 17th, Peyresourde on the 18th and the Hourquette and Aspin (the other way round) on the 19th.

Didn't see anyone filming on the way though, but I was suffering so much I probably wouldn't have noticed

Its turning into a bit of a epic video edit this time! Just passed the Col du Chioula 214km from where I started editing at the coast & into the 2nd days filming, Going to end this part soon. Part 2 will be constant Cols starting with the Lers with the only easy parts being the long drag up a valley road at the start & the plain before the Port des Bales. Part 1 starts hard with the hills at the coast but after the 1st hard 20km there is about a 70km section of very light rolling hills before the Col de Jau starts properly, it should be quite motivating to see the Pyrenees grow in size at each bend or hill top!

Fantastic! Maybe it's time to open a new topic so that the incubation and birth of this epic has its own home?

I look forward to snippets some of your stories on the road then finally the launch of the Blu Ray set.

Thanks.

Well I've made it to the 400km mark which is the start of the Port de Bales ( 1st of the last 4 high peaks) should have it rendering next week & may actually have a beta out this month still if I don't get side tracked.

Thanks for the updates, Phil. It'd be fantastic if Tacx could get it released before the Xmas break - that's a great opportunity to ride a long route like this.

I feel confident that at least part 1 will be out before although I'm editing both right now. I still have to decide where the best spot to split it is!
