Low ScaleFactor

Post by bravadodaz » Thu Jun 12, 2008 4:49 pm

So I'm down to like 88 scale factor to match my PT. I climb at about 300 watts at the moment at tempo. Anyone else have to use such a low factor - all the posts I've read suggest >100

Also, how can the Virtual leagues be fair if we all really need different scale factors for powermeter claibration?

Are you using Fortius or Imagic. On Fortius, the higher the scale-factor the more difficult it gets. I believe on Imagic it's just the other way around.

About the leagues being fair: there are so many things that make it impossible for the leagues to be really fair ever. There are various discussions on this forum about that.
Don't worry about it too much, just see the leagues as an extra source of fun and motivation. After all, the most important thing is how you improve compared to yourself. At least, that's my opinion. :)
