power number (average?)

Post by lynx » Thu Nov 05, 2015 11:09 am

Hi, i using the Neo, and i like to understand the power (watt) number. On which time period depends the number (for 1 second, or average of 2 or more seconds)?

I like to know this for:
- Which number is sent from the Neo himself?
- And for the official tacx training software (apps and destop software)

Thank you

Power data from the Neo is simply a sequential stream of data transmitted to conform to the ANT+ protocol. Power averaging is done by the application or device that is being used to control the Neo, so if you paired the Neo with a Garmin device that is ANT+ FE-C compatible like the Edge 520 or Edge 1000, the power averaging is done by the Garmin.

Then I have to look at this, it was very deep, and it had to look to see what's good.
