Problem solved - thank you for mentioning the firmware upgrade.
I've never done one in the two years I've owned the Satori.
Just ran it now (took 5 seconds), did the calibration, and seemed normal.
Please tell us the version number of the firmware. This can be useful for other users.

Hi there - so the version I installed, which got things working again, was 0.5.4, and this was January 2018 as I did all this.

I didn't notice the previous version that was on my Satori Smart... but I think it was a 0.4something.

thanks again.

Hi, I found my wattages were low compared to my perceived effort on sufferfest so downloaded the utility app. I could then never get to see the line in the middle, always said it was too loose. Having read this thread I did the update and it worked immediately and I was able to centre the line. However, I did a 32 min ride, wattages were in my ball park but it measured a huge speed increase. I averaged 37.7mph and a 20 mile ride in the time. Clearly this is wrong or I've missed my calling. Any ideas why this would be?

I just signed up to this forum to thank you for the firmware suggestion which fixed my calibration issues. I purchased a Satori Smart used from a colleague and combined it with a Tracx Training Tire and my calibration was showing too loose even when I had everything cranked to the highest settings. After reading about the firmware upgrade here, I took my phone down to my pain cave, opened up the Util app and saw the fw was at v 0.2.2 and suggested was 0.5.4. Waaaaay out of date. As soon as I upgraded and tested it my calibration was now showing way too high so I dialed everything back and have it dead center in the middle of the chart. Thank you!!!
