No, it doesn't. What kind of trainer do you have? The self-propelled models like the Genius or the older Fortius don't do very well on steep downhills because you spend your time coasting, although it usually doesn't last a long time.
You can flatten out courses in TTS4 using Power Mode, but that flattens uphills as well as downhills.
You can cut long descents manually:
This is where you can make a partial course from a film. After selecting this training type a list of
choices will appear with the films and courses already present. Make your choice and click Create.
The settings screen will appear, showing the altitude profile at the top. At the bottom you will see a
picture of the start and the GPS route, and to the right some information regarding the course. With
the two vertical lines in the altitude profile you can determine start and finish by dragging them
across the screen with the mouse. The yellow coloured part shows your selection. While setting the
course all the other info will change as well.
With Multisession you can ride partial courses of the same Tacx film or Catalyst training program in
succession, so as a combined whole.
Select the desired route and click Create. In the left box you will see the available partial courses.
Use the arrows to add or remove a partial course.
Click Save when your Multisession is compiled.
