Calibration

Post by dash1e » Sun Sep 03, 2017 2:46 am

Sorry for the stupid question but during the calibration procedure of my Genius Smart :D I have to stay on my bike, riding it, because my weight is important or I have to stay down?

You need to stay on because your body weight will result in more pressure on the roller than if you were not on the bike. This difference in pressure on the roller would have some effect on the calibration number. My expectation would be if you were not on the bike when you calibration, the resulting calibration value would not take into account the additional tension and you would show decreased power.
