It's been fixed! I done the cp20 about a month ago without crashing. They also confirmed this via my Twitter.

PiPPi certainly has a point.... Personally I have suffered all the issues he describes. I for one would never recommend that someone should ever buy a #tacxsupport #tacx. I have my tacx, I'll use it but never ever will I suggest to anyone that it's a good ide to get one...

Thanks for giving all the opinions and advices. Calculating the actual resistance of an exercise is important, regardless if the workloads are based on the number of reps you can perform with a weight.

It looks like the issue is back, in the same form or another, did a CP20 test recently and it crashed during warm-up. VR, workouts and video works fine for hours.

I'm done with Tacx since a long time back. They totally screwed up the software bit, both from a quality standpoint as well as commercial. The competition is way ahead on both those counts
Hello Pippi,

I also want to check my fitness through this fitness test. So could you please suggest me how can i participate in this test???

TTS crashes during normal sessions as well. Looking up the logs I found the following which might help the developer team:

This is an isolated case or repeated from time to time? It relates to the CP20 fitness test?

It has happened during a "normal" workout (which was created by me), but several times. It first happened at the beginning of the session then at very close to the end. Unfortunately I couldn't recover any training data, so my TrainingPeaks analysis is now broken (or at least not 100%ly on the spot).

Such crashes are very rare, it has happened to me maybe 3 or 4 times during the last year.

A very mysterious impact on such rare crash can have these two settings:
1) Catalyst 3D (better - off);
2) Video Player (better - 1.0).

Functional Threshold Power (FTP) i- the highest power output you can sustain on a continuous basis is not strictly predicated on a specified gear combination during the test. While the description for many of the tests define specific gear combinations, in reality, power is power and just like climbing a hill or mountain, ultimately you will ride with the gearing that allows you to complete the testing protocol.
