Tacx Neo or Bushido

Post by otousignant » Tue Nov 06, 2018 9:44 pm

I have the Bushido smart t2780. I have an opportunity to change it by a Neo. I don't know if the extra money to buy a Neo it s a good decision.

I train many hours per week. I did t some 70.3 ironman during the summer season.

Thanks for your comments

While it is nearly twice the price, from my perspective it was definitely worth the upgrade. No more messing about trying to adjust friction to get the calibration right. The Neo requires no 'warmup', nor does it suffer from drift down of power over the course of a long workout like many rear wheel trainers. Can be ridden stand-alone or with nearly every trainer app on the market and once the app is set, simply get on your bike and ride. Of course while the Bushido to Neo decision is pretty straight forward, the more difficult decision will be whether to get a Neo 1 or wait for dealers to start stocking the recently announced Neo 2?
