Re: Keyboard commands TTs4

Since the introduction of smart trainers you don't need your head unit anymore to work with TTs4. Here is a list of the headunit commands on the keyboard : All of functions using keyboard ENTER opens menu TTS4 ESC closes menu TTs4 SPACEBAR opens menu TTS3 UP/DOWN arrows scroll menu PageUP/PageDOWN ...

Re: Tacx Support - positive experience

filtering panel at the top of the list of rides, perhaps TTS could do likewise? How about sending that as a 'Request for enhancement' to the support team with a copy and paste of your post that you could email to support@tacx.com :?: I did and the answer was: Dear Doug, Thank you for your email. We...

Re: 3rd party VR? - Please engage

...Conversely, imagine how much more popular Tour De Giro would be if the ANT+ FE-C protocol was implemented to allow Smart trainers to work with the application? 8) This will get them few extra customers for sure but in general I think they would simply stand no chance of competing with things lik...

Re: Tacx Support - positive experience

I agree, TTS4 does seem to "just work" even after updates, which I now do immediately without thinking before doing so. There is one little improvement that I would like to see: some way of filtering the list of rides. Like many people I feel sure I have a looooong list of rides to choose from, new ...

Yep, I remember him. Also the spot where Phil rescued a guy who had slipped over the edge. Unfortunately by going from 1 to 3 and missing out 2 I will not get to see that bit. D Shoot Doug....I thought you were going to the start of 4. Well, I still have to redo the Tourmalet....I'll do that w/ you...

Re: Raid Pyrenees I

Who else is actively riding the Raid now? Not yet, but I look forward to a repeat (not including another hibernation with Edgarini on top of the Tourmalet waiting for part IV to be released... ). Not this week-end, though, the weather forecast is just too fine. I reckon that I will just go ah...

Re: Raid Pyrenees I

I will finish Part 1, for the third time, on Friday the 30th. Stephen Loukin is waiting for me in Tarascon. You suggested Stephen that we restart at the end of Part 2, is that correct? Part 3 is the ride up Tourmalet and Part 4 starts on the bottom slopes of the west side of the Tourmalet. I would b...

Re: 3rd party VR? - Please engage

Technically I am not yet a tacx client ( just ordered genius multiplayer from cwc) and I am already irritated with tacx in this regard. Forget the airbags it's more like ordering a Porsche 911 that can only drive around the block!!! I would cancel your order if you still can. There are no committed...

Re: Zwift

I've collected a bunch of RLV videos but riding them by myself makes me sleepy. You might say the novelty of the VR experience has worn thin with me and no longer excites or drives me and feels more like a chore, same as a ordinary turbo trainer. I need the online experience. Im never going to be r...

Re: Tacx Support - positive experience

You are quite right, I have always found Tacx Support helpful and sympathetic, including a couple of times when someone took the trouble to take over my computer and solve the problems. It has been quite a long time now since I last had to call for support. The latest manifestation of TTS just works.

Re: Veloreality

Veloreality does everything that it says. It is a fantastic, free, programme that is kept up to date automatically. There is not any waiting when you want to start a ride, it just works! The picture quality is fantastic and your ride is automatically saved on a continual basis. I sometimes ride TTS ...

Hey, are we seeking a record here? 97 posts, not counting this one since 16 Jan!! Times change, computers change, operating systems change so that, if you do not keep up, and in the meantime programmes that you wish to use have changed, it is entirely possible that problems may, and do, arise. I must agree that it looks pretty exciting. Scenery good too, a bit like Nethalon or early Tacx iMagic.
