Re: Difference at Watt Stages / Vortex 2160

Changing tension affects the calibration of the brake, so if you recalibrate after changing tension, it really does not get you anywhere. Adjustment according to the power meter - this is the calibration, but in a different way. Is not it? http://arcanumclub.ru/smiles/smile37.gif Yes, I think you a...

Re: Low power reports in Tacx trainers

I think there are reports all over the map of the Tacx brakes reporting either too low or too high. There are probably a wide range of factors that could account for this, but part of it is expecting an unrealistically high level of accuracy, which is why you need a good power meter if this is impor...

Re: Difference at Watt Stages / Vortex 2160

Vortex has a mechanism for adjusting the degree of pressing of the roller to the tire. Therefore, you have the ability to adjust the power output so that it matches the readings of your power meter. Changing tension affects the calibration of the brake, so if you recalibrate after changing tension,...

Not sure what make of cadence sensor you are using, but I would be sure it has a fresh battery.

Sounds like you could have a failing unit. You should contact support@tacx.com or your dealer. It has a 2 year warranty.

Re: Tacx Genius Squeak & Slipping

It is also possible that the noise is the stainless steel sleeve over the urethane roller is beginning to come loose. One symptom of that is the noise is worse when it is cold. Without hearing the noise, it is kind of a guess, but sleeve failures are quite common after a couple of years. There is a ...

Re: Anyone willing to share HR & Power data for a research project?

Hi everyone - if anyone is willing to share real exercise data I'd love to hear from you. I'm specifically looking for power and heart rate data from real activities. I have my own data to work with, but I'm trying to understand the relationship between heart rate and power exertion over the course...

Re: TDA did not save ride

That's what I did - it is synonymous in the description. Unfortunately that did not work. I will try again. What exactly do you mean close program - TDA completely close or only cancel the training? Thank YouTube. All rides automatically save. It does not matter whether you terminate a ride or paus...

Re: TDA did not save ride

I would like to know what to consider if I prematurely break off a movie and want to save the workout. I only tried it on a demo video but ist dieser work. When canceling the Video the message came: ESC for cancel - or carry on. No message to save the workout. It automatically saves (at least it is...

It might make more sense to do this rather than spend money on an ANT+ antenna.

Re: create and run workouts

I have not had good luck with Android emulators.

There are a lot of inexpensive Android tablets with Bluetooth that will run the Tacx Android apps. But frankly, I don't think they are very interesting to use. It might make more sense to do this rather than spend money on an ANT+ antenna.

Re: TTS4 no longer able to load video files

I have not tried TTS4 recently. However, there have been some major 1803 feature update to Windows 10, including an update to the update to fix certain problems with the 1803 update. So, it is always possible the 1803 update and its fix have caused something to break. Have you recently installed 180...

Re: Download TTS4.22FULLVERSION.zip

Thank you for the answer. I finally managed to install TTS4. I had a CRC error with data2 file, and 2 others with some .avi files, but I ignored them and it seems Ok. I'm actually updating the app with the lasts patches. That would make me nervous. You may end up with a corrupted installation. Perh...

Re: Rolling Resistance

I'm a big fan of training using imported GPX files (particularly enjoy the TTS4 implementation with the Google Earth playback feature) - However, one vital element that seems to be missing is some kind of user defined control of rolling resistance for off road routes. Unless I'm missing something, ...
