Re: NEO not broadcasting Ant+ ?? (can't pair)

Worryingly Tacx support stated no Garmin FR's could read the Neo's Ant+ broadcast  when I know all that have a bike profile can! Keep in mind that English is not native language spoken/typed by members of the support team and often times the intent of a reply is lost in translation. I suspec...

Re: NEO not broadcasting Ant+ ?? (can't pair)

I've tried to pair via Ant+ passively (without any BT connection made) to both my Garmin FR935 watch & my CABLE Ant+ to BT repeater & neither can find the NEO when they scan. Exactly what are you trying to accomplish? If you are trying to connect to/control the Neo itself as an ANT+ FE-C trainer, t...

Re: Sram Force 22 on a Neo T2800

May not help, but you could take a look at Tacx's Cassette installation and compatibility support article. What is the manufacturing year of your Neo as Tacx recently changed from an Edco MultiSys freehub that to two separate freehubs for Shimano/SRAM and Campganolo. If you have the Edco MultiSys, t...

Until such time as Bluetooth eliminates the single connection limitation, I am not sure there are going to be very many jumping on that band wagon.

Re: T31 Polar HR in TTS4 Advance with i-magic

I have read in the forums that you have to click on the heart band icon, but I do not see any button or a check box to select analogue cardiac band. Since you changed the handlebar controller, you probably first need to re-add the HR belt from Device Manager in order for TTS to use the device: Conn...

Re: Vortex & Bluetooth

As I replied in another thread, if you cannot connect via Bluetooth, then the trainer is not working as intended and needs to be returned and replaced by the seller ASAP.

Seems to me time for patience is up! If you cannot connect via Bluetooth, then it is not working as intended and needs to be returned/replaced ASAP.

Re: Vortex & Bluetooth

On Sunday when I wanted to update the firmware which I believe is required to use Zwift via bluetooth (BT) or ANT+ I could not get the trainer to connect to a number of different devices via BT. While not obvious and since none has mentioned this, Bluetooth is a single connection communications pro...

Re: My scott plasma is not compatible with mu Neo !!!

Did you take a look at the Tacx support article for compatible bicycles ? Is your Neo a first generation manufactured in 2016 or a newer 2nd generation manufactured after October 2016? From what I can tell the Scott Plasma 20 is not compatible due to the brake caliper position under/behind the botto...

Yes, but that assumes you have been installing Tacx's updates for TTS and are currently running version 4.22 or newer.

Re: Neo set up quick release

While it is disappointing that the spring has gone missing, the purpose of these springs on the quick release is to facilitate the ease with which the wheel can be engaged and removed from the dropouts on the bike frame.

Re: Fortius trainer lock up with TTS4

My take is that the newer powerback unit that is exhibiting the a issue has a cold solder join or bad component on the PCB - i.e. it is defective - and will probably need to be replaced.

Re: BikeNet after update TTS4

Now to try and bring this thread back on topic, Tacx released TTS Update 4.22.7 yesterday but no indication of correcting the issue for which this thread was started: • Fixed a connection issue with Strava • Updated the Valeggio VR map with improved visuals I updated both our computers after our tra...

Re: Changing cassette on NEO

From the manuals not sure if I need to use a Campag lock ring to loosen it? This is not really an answer, but up until this year, the Neo was supplied with an Edco Multisys freehub, which when the Neo was first introduced, the first couple production run's were supplied only with Campagnolo style l...

Re: NEO better control at lower speed

( just to get a straight chain line) Same interval 2 x 20 min @ 280w @ 95 cadence the graph was a lot smoother My thinking is that while the improved chainline helps reduce impediments to a smooth cadence, I am really thinking it suggests you need a new/better chain. :D Power is essentially torque ...

Re: Trek Domane ALR 4

While I suspect you need the T1708 (M12x1.75 for E-Thru), you should either ask the bike shop where the bike was purchased or measure your rear thru-axle with a metric measuring tape/tool, then determine the thread pitch and cross reference with the PDF file linked in my previous post.

Re: Trek Domane ALR 4

You will need a thru-axle adapter and since the Trek Domane is equipped with 12 x 142 rear thru-axle, so you will need to compare the thru-axle on your bike to those listed in the Tacx_Dimensions_Traineraxles-2017_EN.pdf file that is linked on the E-Thru Trainer axle Classic trainers page to determi...

Re: Problem with Direct drive quick Release T2840

The T2840 is for 10x135, where as your Scott Foil Disc is 12x142 thru-axle, thus you really need a Tacx 2835 Direct drive quick release with adapter set 142x12mm.
