Re: TDA slow, film download incredibley slow

If that were the case, seems like there would be significantly more posts on the matter. My guess is that your ISP is imposing speed limits on your internet after a certain threshold has been reached. You could find the answer by running a speed test prior to starting a download and then repeat the ...

Re: Wahoo Tick'r

So I select the Tickr for HR and then deselect HR for the Neo if it’s still offered and then press Stop. Maybe a piece of Voodoo but not a very burdensome routine even if it should be superfluous. I am somewhat confused by that HR select option immediately under the Neo. Although the following imag...

I used my Wahoo Tickr with TDA on a Windows 10 laptop on Saturday, training with a workout I created from the cloud with no issues.

Re: Wahoo Tick'r

My Garmin Vivoactive HR will detect and connect however. Had to re-read this before posting, but that is not actually testing the BT connection. Although the VivoActive uses BT to connect to the Garmin app on a smartphone, it still connects to the Tickr via ANT+. So have you checked your Wahoo Tick...

Somewhat timely if you consider the fact that the Neo Smart Bike has functional brake levers.

I just got a new Tacx Neo 2 and connected it via ANT-Antenna to a windows laptop.
So you connected the Neo using the Device Manager in TTS 4 and not resistance change. Does the Neo produce any power output iwhile pedaling and monitoring from the Tacx utility app testing dashboard?

Re: Vortex resistance, ftp and power

What application was used when you observed the 45w? Assuming this is a Vortex Smart, have you checked the Tacx Utility app to see if the Vortex has the latest firmware ? From your description, it sounds as if either the resistance unit is mounted in the wrong holes or the friction adjustment is too...

One thing I have not tried is running TDA at the same time as TTS4. (Not sure there is any good reason to do so.)
Sure, but there is always the case of the non-subscribed TDA user who wants to ride TTS only videos, and can log the ride data with TDA.

Re: How to mount a Canyon Aeroad disc on Bushido

Can't say for sure as we have Tacx Neo's, but I am thinking you will need to swap the Bushido quick release for a E-Thru Trainer axle that is appropriate to your bike.

Re: Cadence and Sensor problems

I am confused by this question? What trainer are you using? You should not need to purchase external sensors for use with Tacx Desktop Application. If you do not own one of the Tacx Smart Bike Trainers, then you are not going to be able to train with TDA.

Re: Choppy Video and little forward progress

By the way, in the photo, as I understand it, the TCA is used, not the TDA. And the Magnum is the same fiasco as the TDA, with a speed limit of 30 km/h and tedious noise: https://www.instagram.com/p/BpSTBQvCuiZ/ Noise did not seem to be a problem for him: Edvald Boasson-Hagen used cycling treadmill...

Re: Choppy Video and little forward progress

Although I am only using the workout functionality and have not subscribed for videos, with the introduction of the Neo Smart Bike, I suspect TDA is doing very well despite our nay-saying. What would be great is if Tacx could find a way to make the Magnum treadmill more affordable for the masses as ...

Re: Strava Upload and Login not working in 4.22.7

So you are referring to the original batch of the semi Smart trainers which were bluetooth/tablet specific? My understanding is that the Smart Trainers are fluent in ANT+ FE-C as well as the private Bluetooth protocol that TDA uses, but not legacy private ANT+ used for the non-smart trainers.

Re: Speed drop outs with Tacx Flux 2 and Forerunner FR 935

The Edge works fine, but on the FR 935 I have countless speed drop outs. It’s like an on/off signal every half second. I am guessing the FR935 is either being used for HR or it is configured to use WiFi to automatically sync with Garmin Connect, Training Peaks, or Strava, hence the need for having ...

Re: Strava Upload and Login not working in 4.22.7

I still have TTS3 loaded and it still works despite no updates in a long time. I assume that is with a legacy trainer such as a Fortius or non-smart Bushido, Flow, or Genius, as I recall support for ANT+ FE-C required for the smart trainers wasn't introduced until long after support for TTS 3 had e...

Re: Installing software with fortius

Well I was not aware Tacx had removed the requirement for a HR monitor with TTS. Curious though, if you start a free ride or pre-programmed workout wihtout a HR monitor, doesn't TTS start beeping due to HR being out of zone?

Re: Tacx Neo drive train rumble and vibration

I am thinking the cassette spacing is ever so slightly different between the Neo's freehub and your bikes rear wheel. If your bike is on the trainer until spring time, you can adjust via Shimano's Di2 adjustment process . If you live in a milder climate where the bike comes off the trainer weekly, I...
