Re: My Bushido went mad, production date 2070 ????

Was it a replacement after a previous failure of a new one... or purchased new.. If a replacement it may have been refurbished unit and has older number still stored in rom chip.. Purchased as new 3.5 years ago or so. But an eventual earlier refurbishment is a good idea. Never happened any similar ...

Re: My Bushido went mad, production date 2070 ????

It worked.

But still curious how a unit can change its serial number.

Anybody who knows more about it?

Re: My Bushido went mad, production date 2070 ????

I figured out that if I was right and the serial number was really changed TTS had no chance to connect. So I searnched for NEW Bushido and voilá the connection is there. Since I am now not able to test it with the brake too, I am really curious whether this fake SN and production date combo will me...

Re: My Bushido went mad, production date 2070 ????

I found a post saying settings/info/ 10 times the button RIGHT to do a hard reset.
So did I, but the same data I got and still no way to connect my handlebar unit to TTS3.

Maybe a Y2.015K problem related just to Bushido controller?

My Bushido went mad, production date 2070 ????

It seems that I am unlucky nowadays. My Bushido handlebar unit was not able to let PC connection after a shutdown, so I had to remove the batteries. Having put them backit was not a simple forced setting of the date/time etc, as usual, but some sort of bigger reset happened. You know sound came back...

Re: Bushido calibration, range 20-22

thanks for the explanation. I fully got your second argument and agree. But as regards the first one, just partly. OK it is more comfortable to forget the annoying HR belt pairing process with Bushido handlebar in case of ANT belts before each of one's training session (which is not a technics relat...

Re: Bushido calibration, range 20-22

Sorry, easy to overlook that there might still be folks pairing an ANT+ powermeter with the Bushido head unit. ANT+ powermeter power output tends to be very stochastic on the road or on the trainer and the firmware updates made it very difficult to train but a heavier flywheel to simulate inertia p...

Re: Bushido calibration, range 20-22

Thanks for the reaction. 2. Sorry to say, but ma second question has not been answered. My point was that what is the function of calibration considered that a paired Powertap is the tool which controls everything? You can read my question as what is the benefit of Bushido calibration if the power ...

Bushido calibration, range 20-22

Please give me some lesson, after a longer pause in using Bushido I need a brush-up. 1. I clearly remember that a calibration number below 10 can result slippage. The ideal cal number may be 12-15. But what if I get a cal number 20-22 after some warmup? May it result in any problems? 2. Does it make...

Here is thread in this matter: http://forum.tacx.com/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=21010&p=145754#p145754 Another one: http://forum.tacx.com/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=19977 The second part of this one is also about it http://forum.tacx.com/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=20573 I sent at least half a dozen emails about it an...

Re: Testers wanted for Ant+ wireless power meter firmware up

Thanks for the confirmation.

To be honest I could not convince Tacx Support that all the issues you listed are something to be resolved by Tacx itself.

Re:

Kevinm wrote:This is a known and persistent bug and appears to be due to a temporary lack of acquisition by TTS of the ANT+ values.

Report it to Tacx and hopefully it will be corrected as was the false overheating warning in the current TTS release.
But the fix did not happen.

Re: Paired Powertap to Bushido

So it seems that the conversation is stuck.

Even if I don't get the point what is the obstacle to consider a paired Powertap the same way as it is done with Bushido brake as far as zero cadence(power)&positive speed situations concerned, it seems that Tacx sent me some sort of red signal.

Paired Powertap to Bushido

As a consequence of two threads http://forum.tacx.com/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=19977 http://forum.tacx.com/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=20573 I tried to start a discussion with Tacx about why there is an immediate stop if cadence is zero when a Powertap is paired. It was a long period until I get the answer to ...

Re: An open plea to TACX

I don't want revolution, I don't want my money back. What I need is clarification, because I hate uncertainty. And I think I paid enough for getting some certainty regarding Bushido.

Re: An open plea to TACX

The plea has been read. This part of open ANT communication with our devices is under investigation. Great. Then a plea to eliminate the "false pause" when Bushido is paired with a powermeter. See eg. http://forum.tacx.com/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=19977, but there were more threads in the last 12 month...

Re: Bushido help please

3. Known issue, search for it here on tacx forum. There are more annoying issue like this one, a similar when stop pedaling doesnt appear, but save button is still greyed. Same workaround: unplug and replug. If you have a powermeter paired with bushido, you have more unwanted pop up messages. I gave...

Re: An open plea to TACX

Please dont pretend, that you didnt get my point, you must be much more clever than doing so , you should know very well that the issue is not the holidays of one single individual called "he", but the lack of "he2" or a "she" who can act as a replacement even if just as a secondary, part time duty....

Re: An open plea to TACX

I will never understand this sort of professionalism from a company being big enough to advertise eg. on Eurosport
Especially because ads happen in the same "Holiday" period when people are out without replacements.
