Has new upgrade stopped GPS speed working properly?....

A couple of days ago, I did the latest upgrade from Tacx. Meant to fix some problems with GPS mode. Didn't ride straight away (weather good), but today decided to do a ride I regularly do with GPS mode. This is the southern half of the Isle of Man TT course. Has about 8 miles with gentle gradients, ...

Re: TTS4 Not working anymore

Your attachments haven't worked, so we can't see what you have posted. If you are installing from new, then use the full installer from this thread: <http://forum.tacx.com/viewtopic.php?f=68&t=35190> It sounds as if the install has actually worked. You say 'anymore', does this mean that TTS has been...

Re: Now it is official...

Very stupid.

Instead of rewriting this to be a modern package (which given they should already have the flow charts, would be very easy), they insist on throwing away a good package.

Re: TTS4 on WIndows 10

The annoying thing though is that they have stopped developing it. A 64bit version, with the indexing fixed, and a few less oddities, would be delicious.

Re: TTS4 on WIndows 10

Yes, both of these words have long been features of TTS4.

The stupid thing is I still prefer it to the TDA. Despite it's oddities...

Re: TTS4 on WIndows 10

Thanks. I was slightly 'hoping' that a newer version had come along, but will backup the existing files, try this, and see what happens.

Best Wishes

Re: TTS4 on WIndows 10

A question.
ON the 'full install' download, is there a matching download for just the VR component?.

Have TTS4, has been running fine, but has started not being abole to run one of the VR rides. Wanted to just re-install the VR component to see if that would fix it.

Re: Allocation for Boot Camp

Ideally have an external USB HD, and store the actual videos etc., on this. Otherwise if you have any number of videos, space will vanish fast... With the external drive you only need space for Windows, TTS itself and the actual ride records. A base install of W10, requires about 20GB of space. TTS4...

Re: TTS4 and NEO issues

Have to agree. My PC is a couple of feet 'forward' of my handlebars, but putting the ANT+ module directly into the PC, gave unreliable connections. Add a cable and put it about half way 'back' along the bike with a nice clear line of sight to the Neo, and it works fine. ANT+, is a short range commun...

Re: Google License and GPS Rides

It hasn't been improved at all. It was far better five or six years ago, before Google changed the way this is handled.
It is still a useful tool if you want to rehearse a particular ride, but whether this is worth the fee, depends on how much you need to do things like this.

Agreed.
That was my original thinking, which is why I was talking about magnet misalignment, and anothe poster suggested battery.
Not sure which interpretation is right...

Re: cadence

Agreed on the incorrect assumption.
If he crank length has reduced, it requires you to supply more force at the pedal to turn at a given cadence. If you can't supply this, then your cadence will reduce.

Ergebnis Hitze. Hoffentlich mac...

Re: cadence

Not directly.
Are you sure you got the cadence magnet correctly placed on the crank arm with the change?.
Similarly when doing it are you sure the detector didn't get moved?.

Re: Chain rubbing despite exact same set up

They should be completely compatible. Obvious things: 1) Double check you really do have the 11s. Would be easy for someone to have sent a 10s by mistake!... 2) Check it really is fitting right home on the axle. The likely thing is that a little bit of sprue or something is stopping the casette from...

That's not a display. That's a complete iMac. i5 3GHz processor for the link you give. The Macbook Pro supports two external screens. Don't think the 12" standard Macbook does. According to Apple: "This MacBook can simultaneously support the internal display as well as up to 3840x2160 at 30 Hz or up...

Re: Getting a new NEO today :) some Route questions please

You realise you need to buy the Google License to use this feature?. The gradient you get will be a simulation of the real gradient. However you can elect to ride it as if the gradient was more or less using the Power Factor setting. You have an overhead 'map' view, and then the up/down arrows on th...

Re: Tacx turbo trainer tyre psi

Bike tyres (and car tyres) have their recommended minimum and maximum pressures marked on the sidewall. You want to be running close to the maximum (perhaps 5-10psi below this).
