Ergebnis Hitze. Hoffentlich mac...

Re: cadence

Not directly.
Are you sure you got the cadence magnet correctly placed on the crank arm with the change?.
Similarly when doing it are you sure the detector didn't get moved?.

Re: Chain rubbing despite exact same set up

They should be completely compatible. Obvious things: 1) Double check you really do have the 11s. Would be easy for someone to have sent a 10s by mistake!... 2) Check it really is fitting right home on the axle. The likely thing is that a little bit of sprue or something is stopping the casette from...

Re: MAC release tracking for Q1 still?

That's not a display. That's a complete iMac. i5 3GHz processor for the link you give. The Macbook Pro supports two external screens. Don't think the 12" standard Macbook does. According to Apple: "This MacBook can simultaneously support the internal display as well as up to 3840x2160 at 30 Hz or up...

Re: TTS4 no longer able to load video files

The video tab was working only a few days ago.
It may well be Win release 1803 has busted this... :(
I haven't checked since mine updated to 1803. Or it may only cause this with some specific video cards.
Quite a few things related to particular graphic operations have been affected by this update.

I have reported it Tacx and been told there is a bug in the update and they are working to fix it, as yours is working it must not be the same for everybody. You speak in riddles. You have not reported whether the versions of the two above files match, you did not publish the logs, you did not publ...

Re: Erratic slope changes in VR

I agree with the slope issue. It seems also that when riding against the bots, they slow down on the ascent more, then they absolutely whizz past on the descent, so much so that if there is another ascent close to it, you have no chance of getting up there first. Yes it gets really annoying when yo...

Re: GPS Ride at Street View is erratic and jumpy

<http://www.brianfolts.com/driver/> That's odd. That is slower for me, than StreetView is even on the current version. On the old system, StreetView was really quick. Several frames per second. However the big difference is this doesn't show the hiccup behaviour that TTS now has, where it will (for ...

Re: GPS Ride at Street View is erratic and jumpy

It is hugely dependent now on the performance and latency of the internet link. Basically the fundamental operation was changed, so the program has to request a new frame, wait for this, and receive it, before it can be displayed. On the old system, the server at the other end could be told to move ...

Re: Getting a new NEO today :) some Route questions please

You realise you need to buy the Google License to use this feature?. The gradient you get will be a simulation of the real gradient. However you can elect to ride it as if the gradient was more or less using the Power Factor setting. You have an overhead 'map' view, and then the up/down arrows on th...

Re: Tacx turbo trainer tyre psi

Bike tyres (and car tyres) have their recommended minimum and maximum pressures marked on the sidewall. You want to be running close to the maximum (perhaps 5-10psi below this).

Re: Tacx turbo trainer tyre psi

What sort of pump are you using?. Your tyre will have on the side it's recommended minimum and maximum pressures. Typically a 700C tyre will have something like 100psi min 140psi max. However something like a standard 26" road tyre will only want perhaps 60psi. You should be inflating to about 15psi...

Re: New bike, no more NEO

Well done.

I suspect Tacx get kit like this made 'in batches', and don''t re-order till they run out. Result a fairly long period when they can't supply, and you are dependant an what is in the 'supply chain' already. Great news that a local shop had it!. Even better news that you got a discount. :)

Except if it is using the simulator. I've it on three occasions decide it wasn't going to talk to my Neo, and without telling me start using the simulator instead. Only because I had issues getting it to work with the Neo initially (found it doesn't want to talk to the Neo if the Neo has already bee...

Re: bluetooth not working with tda - SOLVED

Ugh... I'm not going to be toting something as large/fragile as a mobile phone around. The little TTS keypad is as large as I'd want. It's quite easy to unclip for riding, while anything secure enough to hold a reasonable phone, starts to get a bit too permanent. Must admit this bike is not one of t...

Re: bluetooth not working with tda - SOLVED

Agree wholeheartedly with this. My bike doesn't have a mouse or keyboard. These are both several yards away. On TYS4, I can start the video, and while it is counting down, jump on the bike, and then control things from the handlebar keys. Must admit I've started to look for reasonably price BlueToot...
