Offensive message received

Hi.

Can anyone advise me of the system for reporting offensive private messages on this forum?

I have received such a message from a Stanleydem who I do not know and wish to report it. It was a strange event as I am seldom on this site. I have not replied to the message.

Many thanks.

Re: Warning Overcurrent Brake Limited!

Thanks. I have found the Genius great when it works and inordinately frustrating when it doesn't. This latest issue was by way of the last straw - especially annoying as it has been behaving itself better of late.

Re: Warning Overcurrent Brake Limited!

I can't believe no-one has responded to this. Is this forum not trawled by reps from Tacx? I'm really getting to point of feeling that the lack if response simply means that the machine is broken and can't be fixed. And THAT would be almost criminal given the cost and the fact that I have not gone h...

Re: Genius/TTS4.5/No Cadence

I got the same warning this evening - for the first time after successfully running the machine for the best part of two years (winter use only really). I wasn't doing a strenuous workout and hardly hit a slope of more than 4 at all. In terms of positioning of various things - dongle, bike, iPod etc...

Re: Warning Overcurrent Brake Limited!

I experienced this for the first time this evening. I wasn't doing a particularly stenuous workout and I don't think I hit a slope of more than 5% - and even then only for a moment.

What does it mean and how do I fix it?

Right. Have read the manual section for Analyser.

It still doesn't tell me what Program Info and Score Info means.

I can't be the only one wondering this surely?

Help!!!! :D

Thank you. That is some help. It still suffers from not always being specific to the Genius but I guess we just have to wade thru and find the relevant bits.

Using Catalyst Free Cycling on Genius

Okay totally daft questions coming up: 1. is there anywhere that I can get a user's manual or even some info on all the settings in Catalyst? 2. when I click into Anaylser, I get a column that says Program Info and a second that says Score Info. What do these mean? And why is the Average Watts readi...

Thanks for the replies. I do appreciate you guys and it's the help on here that is keeping me persevering with this gadget. However: point 1: "Proceed as follows: adjust the roll so that the tire just touches the roll, then push brake down and turn the black knob 3.5 times and swing brake back up to...

I can see why complete manuals are tricky but there is little to no information whatsoever. Not so much as an explanation of what the various parts do - viz the chap who had to work out for himself what the red light means (assuming he is correct that is.) That is a major lack and can only lead to p...

brake calibration

I find it difficult to pedal on slopes of 6% without being in granny gear. So far the RLTraining rides I've done have only featured max 6% slopes but the one I am going on to has a couple at 10% and I am worried in case I cannot get the wheel to turn at all. It's not as if I can get off and push aft...

I struggle on slopes of more that 5% and I am sure that it was set at 0 for me. So my question is would putting it between 7 and 9 make it "easier" or do I need to put it higher or lower? And I too find the lack of a User Manual most irritating. There is no magic calibration number. They are all eq...
