Re: Strava Upload and Login not working in 4.22.7

One more time guys: There IS a workaround for this now: TTS4>>TrainingPeaks>>(.pwx)>>Sportracks>>(.gpx)>>Strava Nice to see that Tacx is recommending a solution that doesn't work (TTS4>>(.tcx)>>Strava. The problem seems to be between Google and TTS4, as 3rd party rides without gps data upload fine, ...

Re: Strava Upload and Login not working in 4.22.7

Same here. After trying several workarounds that did not work, I found one that did TTS4>>Training Peaks>>(.pwx)>>Sportracks>>(.gpx)>>Strava I've got the suspicion that this is a Google/TTS problem, as I easily uploaded 3rd party ride that had no GPS data a couple days ago, and I got an error msg up...

Re: TDA does not export elevation data

Until this gets sorted, a poor-man's fix to restore altitude is to up the ride to Strava w/ 0 hm, import it back from there as a gpx and up it to http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/elevation, save as a gpx and reload that file to to Strava (don't forget to change it back to a "virtual ride").

Re: TDA Feedback

Got a smart-genius borrowed from a friend and paid monthly subscription. WOW! I'm totally blasted by the quality of the videos I've done so far! Vastly superior to TTS in quality and frames-per-second. Now it really feel like riding the bicycle at the real place. Also noticed that the gradients and...

Re: limit of 30 rides per month

Hi Jeff, downloading a 1080p version of a ride you already have the 720p for will likely count against your quota, as it incurs the full hosting costs for Tacx. Here's a clarification of what counts against your quota from Tom (lead developer) on the Facebook page : Tom Claus: Don't know where on th...

Re: limit of 30 rides per month

.....If you have downloaded some rides then stop using TDA for the summer & come back you will not need to re-download the rides if you point the software to the same folder the file sits in. Is that indeed the case Phil? I could easily see Tacx/Aim/(& who's doing the cloud?) actually counting a "r...

.....its going to take some big reason to drop it in favour of TDA. If you haven't yet, you should try it biggsy. Besides what will before to long be access to over 150 films films and counting, along w/ many spectacular new ones which will be TDA only, the film quality is noticeably improved and t...

Re: Help with TDA and Flux

If your using a USB Bluetooth dongle as a receiver, I initially had no luck with my generic dongle and replaced it with a Pluggable dongle based on its good reviews and the fact that it uses a different chipset than the generic ones. Things worked perfectly once I did that.

Re: Some Screenshots

will the RLV's purchased using TTS 4 be transferable to the desktop app? No, because the video format has changed....but $$-wise it's largely moot, as the TDA subscriptions are "all you can eat", so no penalty for redownloading your already-purchased TTS rides if they're available in TDA beyond the...

What happens if you run the reflashing? And here's another mystery to me: the firmware from the computer (1.1.325) http://tacxdata.com/files/support/GeniusUpdateInstaller_v102.exe and the firmware from the Tacx Utility app is different firmware for different modules? Re: Genius Smart: Should I be worried about these minor issu

I saw a similar effect with my late Genius and always ascribed that to the cadence detection. Like the Fortius, the Genius will grind to a halt when no cadence is detected as a safety measure. Contrary to the Fortius, the Genius detects cadence by looking at power fluctuations over the pedalling cy...

Genius Smart: Should I be worried about these minor issues?

I recently switched from a Bushido Dumb to a Genius Smart. By and large I really like it, although I do have a few issues w/ the wattage measurements. There are a couple other minor issues that have me a bit worried though: - Do others find that when your pedaling on mild down slopes, the resistance...

I have the same problem. Sent an email to Tacx support and they sent a firmware upgrade.
