Re: Neo 2 ring solution for derailleur hitting neo??
This is confusing. I did not thoroughly read all that has been posted about in this thread, half asleep I think. I also did not know Tacx had this T2840 Kit. It seems as though I could have asked Tacx for one of these kits and that may have worked out my problem. I Basically needed to lengthen the N...

Re: Neo 2 ring solution for derailleur hitting neo??
Sorry found the post late. I'm glad to read that you had success solving your problem. To answer the question no I am not using the 15mm thru axle. I have the regular quick release skewer. If you use the supplied spacers this only moves the cassette farther out and does not lengthen the Neo axle. To...

Re: Permanantly Banned from the forum
I think the way this happened for me was when I posted a comment to an obvious spammer basically saying his posts were unwanted. So when they cleaned out that thread I got removed also. Not a big thing to me, I didn't really like my user name anyway because my name isn't even richard. Just to enligh...

Re: Show us your junk!
No bottle cages because I took them off after I had enough of drinking out of dirty bottles. This bike when outside gets used for gravel and single track dirt trails. It's a cross bike. I use a Camelbak hydration pack when I ride it, even when I'm on the trainer.

Re: Permanantly Banned from the forum
This has just happened to me. Understandable how it could happen. I don't have a problem starting from anew. I guess I should change my forum name while I'm at it.

Re: Show us your junk!
This is mine for now. The bike is a Ridley X-Fire Cyclecross carbon with Campy Centaur 10 full group and Campy CX crankset. The floor is concrete so no vibration. Pole fan is in the back and ceiling fan overhead. Tunes come from Pandora radio plugged into amplifier. Skype is on a laptop to the left ...

Re: Neo 2 ring solution for derailleur hitting neo??
Lets say you install one if those rings Tacx sent, what does this do, it moves the cassette away from the centerline of the hub or in this case the centerline of the neo. By doing this you can still get the cassette lockring on but if you notice that special black fixing bolt that secures the EDCO f...

Re: Removing front wheel?
I looked around the net for something also but everything was pricey so I made my own out of some industrial brackets I use for work when mounting print systems to conveyors. Proof you can use just about anything that will work, but I don't know if I would trust wood to hold up over time because of ...

Re: Fortius and TTS4 compatibility ?
It should not be a problem switching between the two trainers. Everything is done in TTS4 device manager. You disconnect device and search for new device, that's all. It worked well for me between Fortius and Neo.

Re: Fortius not recognized
I'm confused. You say you see Fortius but which part? You should see an icon for the handlebar unit and another icon for the resistance unit that contacts the tire in TTS start screen. The handlebar unit has three LED's. Red blinking with the heartrate, green on steady when communicating with the PC...

Re: Odd Metal sounds with new Neo
Quality Bicycle Products is your local distributor, in fact for the US, Brands Cycle is a bike shop in NY, just like Big Bang Bikes is a bike shop here in Pittsburgh. The distributor is who Tacx deals with not the shops that sell their trainers. If I asked Big Bang Bikes to warranty a product that I...

Wow! Been wanting this to happen for around 15 years now. This should take some of the VR cycling crowd back from Zwift. Good for Tacx.

Re: Odd Metal sounds with new Neo
What I don't get is if people have a local distributor/ bike shop why would you buy something online that you know ahead of time has the potential to be problematic? I have bought 3 Tacx trainers since Tacx has started and I got them from a shop in my city because I know if I have a problem, which t...

Re: Odd Metal sounds with new Neo
No Sir, that is not a good sound. I just got my Neo a couple weeks ago and so far it has been as silent as can be as far as trainers go, but your video shows a big difference with that noise and it's nothing like mine. There has been some talk of greasing some part of the Neo but nobody should have ...

Re: TACX NEO - Serious Lag Issues with TR
I have also used Trainer Road and the response time to change resistance is very long. I am on my first month of TR and won't be renewing. I don't see any difference between TR and the Tacx workouts in TTS4 except for the lag and the long winded messages TR keeps posting on the screen. I think TR ne...

Re: Android apps cant update firmware ?
I got that DfuNrf ID a few times but the main thing I could not get was my phone to pair with the trainer. I finally did get it working. I moved away from the trainer into another room and the trainer paired with my phone, so I started the Tacx app but it did not want to pair in the Tacx app. I turn...

Re: TACX NEO not signal
Sometimes there are electrical problems within the home. This could be caused by the transformer supplying electricity to your home. Some people never notice it but a good way to tell is if you change a lot of light bulbs because they don't seem to last as long as they should. But it could be that y...
