Re: TDA Beta for MAC: not opening on iMAC and High Sierra

I have the same problem. But I looked up that Metal thing that was mentioned above and apparently it only runs on Macs from 2012 or later. Mine are both 2011, so I guess it’s no joy for me. I’ve been riding TTS on a Bushido since 2009, but I think it’s time to start at least thinking about updating ...

Re: Controlling TTS options while riding RLVs

Scratch that! I just spotted the sticky in the TTS4 forum which lists the keyboard controls.

Re: Controlling TTS options while riding RLVs

Actually I haven't tried, as I rather like not having to connect the handlebar unit, and I'd rather find a way to make it work without having to use it. I could use the computer keyboard, but I'm afraid I don't actually know the keyboard controls. Can anyone enlighten me on how to use the keyboard t...

Controlling TTS options while riding RLVs - SOLVED

I have a 2009 Bushido. Before updating my TTS 4, I had to connect the Bushido head-unit to TTS in order to train. Now I no longer have to, but can connect the brake directly. My question is that with the old system I was able to control certain TTS options on an RLV ride from the Bushido head unit, ...

Re: Etape du Tour 2017 - Col d'zoard sample

Hi there Phil and the other RVL forum regulars! Apologies for my protracted absence from here, I've been busy with the third kid and doing a lot of running recently. But now I'm turning back to the trainer for a while and checking out some of Phil's new stuff. These new rides filmed on Bertha look v...

Re: Raid Pyrenees I

Hi people, remember me? I've been off the radar for a while. In answer to Doug's question, I'm very slowly working my way through the Raid. I'm in the early stages of part III, ready to start the Soulor. Too busy with small children these days, and I don't manage much time on the trainer, but I'll s...

Re: Raid Pyrenees I

Thanks Martin! Last night I finally caught up with those of you who've been taking it easy on the descent from the Tourmalet. Some great moments on these climbs, with Phil choosing some really excellent roads. Looking forward to the coming installments!

Re: Raid Pyrenees I

Been steadily progressing with Part II, and have started to catch a couple of stragglers. But last time I visited the map I couldn't see how to move my icon now Google have updated their maps. Anybody know what I'm missing?

Re: Raid Pyrenees I

I suspect there'll be plenty of time for me to catch up with you and enjoy the mountain air for a while before part 3 is out. On past form, Tacx will miss the prime winter selling window, and we'll be frozen into the scenery of the Tourmalet.

Re: Raid Pyrenees I

Gents! I've resurrected myself and have finally started part 2! With a bit of luck I'll catch up with the crowd before part 3 is released (not that I think Tacx will get it released terribly soon, more that it might take me a good while to get through it). The first three climbs were pretty stunning...

Re: Raid Pyrenees I

I've been out of the frame for a while, with work and a new family member, but I finally got part 2 ordered and am greatly looking forward to it, as and when I can find the time. Thanks for the updates on part 3, Phil, I'm really happy you took the Spandelles detour for the southern ascent of the So...

Re: Raid Pyrenees I

Good to see many of you progressing through part 2. I'll probably catch you up during the spring/summer, after I've got round to coasting the last 20-odd kms of part 1 and saved my pennies for part 2. For now I'm too busy, but I'll endeavour to make my way to the top of the Tourmalet at some point b...

Re: Raid Pyrenees I

Gents, after some deliberations I think I have to concede defeat on this one. I just about made it to the end of part one, but I don't think I'll manage much progress with part two, so I'll wish you all well and save part two till I have a bit more time on my hands. Thanks for the screenshots, Ed, i...

Re: Raid Pyrenees I

I quite agree. I'm already suspecting that this ride will be even better than the Alps epic. For while the Alps offers unbeatable highlights, there's a consistency in the beauty of the Pyrenees that only a more secluded mountain range can offer.

Re: Raid Pyrenees I

Jeez, I'm wrecked. Pailhères this evening, and I'm not as fit this winter as I was for the RdGA ride. Another lovely climb though, much more of a high mountain feeling compared to the wooded Jau. That point at about 8k to go when the road narrows and the views from the lacets start to get breathtaki...

Re: Raid Pyrenees I

Good to hear that both of you are on your way. I went over the Jau last night, and it was a thoroughly enjoyable stretch of riding. A pleasant gradient on small, quiet roads. The scenery was impressive all the way, with some fantastic little towns and villages along the route.

Re: Raid Pyrenees I

And Martin's trying to bridge accross to Scott's solo break! I'll have to try and shut this one down - time to negotiate some trainer time with the good lady wife.

Re: Raid Pyrenees I

I seem to have had the same idea as Martin - sneaking in a cheeky 20k so that I'm ready to go over the first big climb next time I have a chance to train. But it might not be this weekend, as I'll be at the mercy of Tacx emailing my unlock key. Next week I'm on holiday though - is that cheating?
